In 2009 this became evident to the millions of viewers focused in on the Top Chef finale in which Chef Hosea Rosenberg was seen using the famous Oceans Alive Scallops blue can for the dish that sealed his victory. Rosenberg says of all his dishes he is "most proud of my foie gras and scallop dish that I made on the finale of Top Chef. It’s a dish that I’ve run at the restaurant and every time I make it, people seem to just love it. I think it was the dish that I won Top Chef with."
